Who is this For?

This group is for anyone who would like to have better understanding of themselves and why they react the way they do.

Do you find yourself experiencing emotions that you don’t understand?
Do you or someone you know suffer from a sense of low self worth or low self-esteem?
Do you or someone you know have difficulty coping with your anger?
Have you been court ordered to do anger management?
Are you or someone you know experiencing depression or anxiety?
Do you have children who are difficult to manage?
Do you have difficulty responding to someone else’s anger?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then this group is for you.

What are the costs?

This is a low cost affordable group. Some insurances will cover the costs. For specific information contact Dr. Tony Victor.

What is this about?

This 12 week program meats weekly for 2 hours each session. This program is based on the cutting edge work of Dr. Steven Stosny, a leading psychologist. He is a published author and has presented his groundbreaking work on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

You will learn the purpose of emotions and how they work
You will learn how to help yourself regulate your emotions.
You will build emotional power, strength, and flexibility
You will learn about your own core values and core wounds.
You will be introduced to a number of techniques for regulating your emotions.

There will be weekday afternoon and evening sessions at Cornerstone Counseling Center located in the First United Methodist Church building on the corner of First and Delaware Streets.
